Child and Family Charities has been a cornerstone of support in the Mid-Michigan community since its founding in 1911. With a mission to strengthen and support children, youth, and families, the organization serves over 15,000 individuals annually through a variety of critical programs. These include services for foster care and adoption, counseling, housing for homeless and at-risk youth, substance abuse treatment, and behavioral health support. Their Angel House location, one of their vital programs, provides a safe haven for pregnant and parenting teens who have experienced abuse, neglect, or homelessness, helping them build a brighter future for themselves and their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July of last year, our team proudly partnered with Child and Family Charities to support the impactful work being done at Angel House. Six enthusiastic volunteers from our Central Michigan and CCI teams came together to dedicate a combined 24 hours of service that helped provide much needed support for programs. Together, they worked on landscaping to beautify the grounds, removed old and unsafe equipment, cleaned the facility to create a welcoming environment, and upgraded the lighting to enhance safety and comfort for the residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These improvements have made a tangible difference in creating a brighter, safer, and more uplifting space for the young mothers and children who rely on Angel House as a place of refuge and hope. We are incredibly proud of our team for living our values and contributing to the essential mission of Child and Family Charities. Organizations like Child and Family Charities play a vital role in transforming lives, and we are proud to support their mission.
